Wonderful one day event for everyone who is interested in health, gardening and meditation.  It also is a good opportunity getting to know ABC. 

Speakers Bio
  • Venerable Katapunno was born in Malaysia in 1957 and was ordained when he was 21.  After studying Buddhism in Thailand for a year and a half, he went to Sri Lanka to continue his studies in 1980, where he was ordained again in 1987.  He built Vivekavana Solitude Grove in 1996, and moved back to Malaysia.  He has visited many Buddhist countries and arrived in the United States and visited Jade Buddha Temple in 2006. Currently he resides at the American Bodhi Center.
  • Mr. Tom Te-Wu Ma is a retired scholar and currently teaches a Tai Ji Quan class at the Tracy Gee Community Center.  He is the author of 14 books in both Chinese and English related to Chinese Tradition, Wisdom and Philosophy of Confucius.  He also had written the newspaper column for more than 14 years with more than 600 columns published.
  • Dr. Joseph Masabni earned his PhD, MS and BS degrees from Michigan State University.   He currently is a Vegetable Extension Specialist with statewide responsibilities to develop Extension programs and provide educational opportunities to improve the profitability of the vegetable industry in Texas.
